Keukenhof is the biggest flower exhibition in the world, the most popular attraction in the Netherlands, the must-see when visiting this country. This year, the Keukenhof opens from 22 March to13 May, welcoming all the flowers lovers from over the world coming to see the 800 varieties of tulips, daffodils and others in bloom, showing their natural color and beauty. Last year, during 8 weeks opening, the Keukenhof had around 1.1 million visitors , 75% from abroad.
The flower park, located in Lisse, can be easily reached by private bus or all kinds of public transportation. Inside the park, there is free Wi-Fi, maps and signs to assist the visitors in the large area of 32 hectares. The admission price for an entrance ticket is 18 Euro per person. Children from 4-11 years pay 8 EUR for the entrance ticket and children below 3 years old have free admission.
The Keukenhof also has facilities designed for kids such as a big play ground, a hedge maze and petting farms for the kids having the fun times here. There are several self-service restaurants.
